Where a new or converted building or new installation replaces an old one, the use of an existing side sewer will be permitted when approved by the Director as conforming to all requirements of this chapter or otherwise conforming to the requirements of the International Building Code, the International Plumbing Code, Department Standard Specifications and standards, or other applicable standard rules and regulations of the City.
