The building and side sewer shall conform to City ordinances, comprehensive sewerage plans, codes, and adopted standards, plans and specifications, including but not limited to the International Building Code, the International Plumbing Code, and the facilities plan, as amended. All plumbing work connecting directly or indirectly to the public sewer system shall be inspected by the City and conform to all standards established in this section regardless of whether such work is being performed within or outside of the City limits. If installed in filled or unstable ground, the building sewer and side sewer shall be of cast iron soil pipe, except that nonmetallic material may be accepted if laid on a suitable concrete bed or cradle as approved by the Director.
