All gas appliances or gas pipes hereafter sold, installed, maintained, or repaired within the City limits shall conform to the requirements of the most current state-adopted International Mechanical Code and International Fuel Gas Code. All gas transmission and/or distribution systems hereafter constructed, installed, operated, and maintained within the City shall conform to the requirements of this chapter.
