Every person, firm or corporation found to be in violation of any of the provisions of the Washington State Energy Code shall be deemed to have committed a civil infraction and for each such violation shall be subject to a civil penalty of not more than $250.00. For any violation of a continuing nature, each day’s violation shall be considered a separate offense and shall subject the offender to the above penalty for each offense.
