Any person, firm or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by fine in any sum not to exceed $500.00 or by imprisonment in the City jail for a term not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Every such person, firm, or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any portion of any of the provisions of this chapter is committed, continued, or permitted. Violations of this chapter by any licensed person, firm or corporation in the house-moving business shall be sufficient ground for revocation of such license at the discretion of the City Council.
