Off-premises directional sign kiosks shall be designed and constructed by a licensed sign contractor. All off-premises sign designs and construction materials must be approved by the Community and Economic Development Director. As a minimum criterion, all directional sign kiosks shall be constructed of a metal or masonry framework and contain panel space for a minimum of four individual business identification signs. The color of the kiosk and individual sign plates shall not interfere with traffic signals or signage and shall be compatible with the character of the surrounding commercial environment, if any.
