An employee who is discharged or leaves the City employ for any reason shall receive all accrued vacation pay unless such separation is made during his or her entrance probationary period or is not in compliance with PMC 2.105.230. An employee at the time of leaving the employment of the City, except for any such employee who is terminated for just cause or who is not in compliance with PMC 2.105.230, shall have 25 percent of his or her accumulated and unused sick leave up to an aggregate credit of 90 days converted to and be added to any other accrued vacation time for payment as provided herein. This section shall not apply to an employee who is a member of a collective bargaining unit having an agreement with the City.
