Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to modify or amend any provision of any policy of insurance or coverage document from any municipal insurance pool or entity, wherein the City or any official or employee thereof is the named insured. In the event of any conflict between this chapter and the provisions contained within any policy of insurance or coverage document, the specific provisions of the insurance policy or document shall be controlling.
