Except where specifically defined in this chapter all words in this title shall carry the customary meaning. Words used in the present tense include the future and the future includes the present and plural includes the singular and the singular includes the plural. This title shall be interpreted so as to give words the meaning they have in common usage and to give this title its most reasonable application.
