The R-1 low density residential district is established to provide a low to medium density residential environment compliant with the Comprehensive Plan land use density table in PMC 25.215.015. Certain public facilities and institutions may also be permitted, provided their nature and location are not detrimental to the intended low to medium density residential environment.
