28.16.110 Mitigation exceptions.

Requirements for mitigation do not apply when a wetland alteration is intended exclusively for the enhancement or restoration of an existing regulated wetland, and the proposal will not result in a loss of wetland function and value, subject to the following conditions:
(1) The enhancement or restoration project shall not be associated with a development activity.
(2) A restoration plan shall be prepared and approved as described in PMC 28.16.120. [Ord. 4525 § 1, 2021; Ord. 3911 § 2, 2009; Code 1970 § 28.16.110.]
