(1) It is unlawful for any person to engage in any business within the City or to conduct any shows, exhibitions, or lawful games within the City without holding a license issued by the City and complying with the requirements of this chapter. If more than one business is conducted on a single premises, a separate license is required for each specific business conducted, operated, engaged in or practiced. If a business is conducted by the same owner, but from more than one premises in the City, a separate license shall be required for each premises within the City.

(2) Each application for licensure must be submitted with all required information and accompanied by all fees due. Applications submitted incomplete and remaining incomplete for 120 or more days will be withdrawn.

(3) Business licenses issued under this chapter are effective upon approval and must be renewed annually on or before the expiration date of the license in order to continue business after the expiration date.
