It is unlawful for any person within the City to sell, give or loan, or cause to be sold, given or loaned to any person, any spring-blade knife, dirk, dagger, stiletto, bowie knife, sword cane, any knife the blade of which is automatically released by a spring mechanism or other mechanical device, or any knife having a blade which opens or falls, or is ejected into position by force of gravity, or by an outward, downward or centrifugal thrust or movement, or any slingshot, metal knuckles, or any other dangerous weapon or instrument which may be used to inflict injury upon the person of another.
