Section 108.1 of the International Fire Code shall be omitted and the Mid-Columbia Board of Appeals as set forth in PMC 16.05.040 is substituted in its place:

Section 108.1 Appeals. Whenever the Fire Chief or Community Development Director or their designee disapproves an application or refuses to grant a permit applied for, or when it is claimed that the provisions of this code do not apply, or that the true intent of the code has been misconstrued or wrongfully interpreted, the applicant may, within 30 (30) days of the decision, appeal that decision to the Mid-Columbia Building Appeals Commission as established under the building code.
