It shall be the duty of the Personnel Board to:

(1) Hear grievances in accordance with rules of procedures and practices to be adopted by the Board, but informality of proceedings or in the manner of taking testimony shall not affect any action of the Board.

(2) Advise the appointing authority on matters brought before the Board by the appointing authority.

(3) Keep such records as may be necessary for the proper execution of the powers and duties of the Board. [Ord. 3266 § 5, 1997; Code 1970 § 2.33.040.]
