The low density residential alternate district is established to provide for residential areas which would be compatible for both site-built and factory-assembled homes and to prohibit the development of incompatible uses that are detrimental to the residential environment. The intent of this district is to provide neighborhoods for site-built and factory-assembled homes on platted lots. Certain public facilities and institutions may also be permitted provided their nature and location are not detrimental to the intended residential environment.
