For all local improvement districts approved hereafter, in addition to the requirements of state law for the creation of a lien on real property for which an assessment remains unpaid 30 days after the adoption of the assessment roll, the City Clerk shall cause notice of the lien to be filed with the County Auditor. The City Clerk shall cause a lien release to be filed when the assessment and all accrued interest and penalties are fully paid. [Ord. 2887 § 2, 1992; Code 1970 § 3.08.090.]
