It is unlawful for any person to carry or wear concealed upon his person, or concealed in any vehicle, a weapon, consisting of either a spring-blade knife, dirk, dagger, stiletto, bowie knife, sword cane, any knife the blade of which is automatically released by a spring mechanism or other mechanical device, or any knife having a blade which opens, or falls, or is ejected into position by the force of gravity, or by an outward, downward, or centrifugal thrust of movement, or any slingshot, metal knuckles, or any other dangerous weapon or instrument, excepting firearms, which may be used to inflict injury upon the person of another.
