“Public mural” means a mural or artwork paid for with public funds or funded by a public program.

“Wall mural or artwork” means a mural or artwork painted on a building wall that does not have a commercial message, name, or other advertisement incorporated.

All murals are not considered signs and therefore are not subject to the standards in PMC Title 17 and may not be obscene. Exterior surface color alone is not considered a mural or artwork. [Ord. 4678 § 4, 2023.]
